Will NDP integrate with my existing applications?
Documents can be output to an external word processor such as Microsoft Word or Open Office Write or Libre Office, and financial details can be output to Sage Line 50. E-mails may be sent directly from NDP (requires internet access and an e-mail account). PDF files can also be generated, and attached to e-mail from within the system.
Can I design my own letters and reports?
Our window company management software offers a set of comprehensive templates for a variety of documents and reports all of which can be modified by the end user to generate customised output. Using the report explorer and editor the user can create whole new templates to suit their exact requirements.During the trial period, and for the first 30 days after a new client purchases the system, we offer a free document and report customisation service. Subsequently, we may make a small nominal charge for any additional changes, or new reports that are requested by the client, at our discretion.
What about program updates?
NDP can be configured to automatically check for updates and install them from the Internet. All updates are free to everyone during the trial period and the first year after purchase. Subsequently updates are free to those customers who have purchased an annual support registration. If you don’t have an Internet connection, you may request to receive updates on CD. Internet updates are available as soon as they are released. CD updates are now only published on request.
How do I get technical support?
Minor issues can normally be resolved by either e-mail or telephone support. We also offer a web based help-desk allowing us to remotely, and securely, login and take temporary control of an end user’s PC. This allows us not only to resolve any issues but to show the client how the issue was resolved in many cases. For clients with network systems we generally recommend that we have a permanently available remote connection to their server to enable us to continue to work on issues that may require out of hours access or unattended server reboots. We also provide mobile telephone contact details and Skype voice and messaging support to our clients. This information is not published here, in an attempt to reduce the amount of unsolicited messages, and calls that we receive. This can be particularly useful when used in conjunction with LogMeIn for supporting users remotely and discussing problems. See more about remote support.
